Welcome to The REPUBLICANS website. May your visit with us be an informative and pleasant experience while at the same time motivating you to join with us in furthering the Republican Party cause. The Republican Party of Australia (“RPA”) was first Registered by the Australian Electoral Commission on 9 October 1992 and is a re-Registering Party in 2008. The RPA’s established abbreviated names are The Australian Republicans and The Republicans. The RPA is a secular, free enterprise liberal party of the centre. It has absolutely no links with any other Republican Party and no links, directly or indirectly, with the American Republican Party. The RPA does, however, value its close links with several Australian Republican groups through a body loosely known as The Republican Gatherers who, during the course of the present decade, have conferenced on four occasions. The REPUBLICANS is an umbrella organisation encompassing several political pursuits and entrepreneurial endeavours that, together, serve the common cause.
